Simulator of Universal Automatic Identification System -
NTS-Pro 4000(UAIS)
UAIS simulator NTS-Pro 4000 is designed to preparation navigators,
of the pilots and operators Vessel Traffic System (VTS) and
allows to train professional skills with the purpose of increase
of a level of safety of navigation by means of effective navigation,
protection of an environment, efficiency of use VTS through
performance of the following functional requirements:
- in a mode " a vessel - vessel " - for the prevention
of collisions;
- As a means to obtain by Coastal Services information on
a vessel and its cargo;
- As the tool VTS - in a mode "a vessel - coast " (management
of movement of vessels).
UAIS Simulator provides functions:
- automatic and regular transfer by a vessel to other vessels
or coastal services ship information (the ship name, course,
speed and other information);
- automatic reception, processing and display of the similar
information from other vessels and coastal services;
- automatic tracking of vessels equipped with the simulator
AIS , with the purposes of the prevention of collisions,
and also control and regulation of navigation;
- exchange of safety-related email messages between vessels
and coastal services.
Configuration
Simulator consists of instructor's workplace and from 2 up
to 8 operator's workplace.
The UAIS simulator NTS-Pro 4000 is the perfect training program for navigators and pilots. This system is easy to set up. All you need is UAIS imitator, a computer, complete with monitor, keyboard and mouse. This simulator is designed to sharpen and further improve the skills of navigators so they become more equipped and prepared with the right skills. This is also designed to make navigators work more safely so as to avoid catastrophic accidents and events.

Operator's workplace consists
of computer (display, keyboard, "mouse") software
and imitator of AIS.
For increase of functionalities operator's workplace
the software of Radar/ARPA/ECDIS and board of management
of a vessel can be added.
For preparation of the coastal experts it is meaningful
to expand iperator's workplace by a place of the operator
VTS.

- Static data:
- IMO number - unique referenceable identification;
- radio call sign - international call sign assigned
to vessel;
- name of ship;
- dimensions of ship - to nearest meter ;
- type of ship;
- location of position-fixed antenna onboard the ship
- Dynamic data:
- ship's position;
- time (UTC);
- course over ground;
- speed over ground;
- course (on gyro-compass);
- navigation status ("under way using engine"
, "not under command" ,"at anchor");
- rate of turn.
- Voyage related data:
- draught of ship;
- type of cargo;
- destination;
- AOA (at the option of the captain).
- Short safety-related messagess.
