Navigation simulators
Training program MARRAD
The MARRAD - training program is designed in accordance with requirements of resolution of STCW.
The MARRAD training program is designed for navigators, pilots and maritime students in radar operation and plotting and in the operational use of ARPA. The radar picture looks very realistic and include following elements and effects: coastlline, traffic ship with appropriate echo size, racons, SART beacons, navigational marks, sea clutter, rain clutter ect..
This system is easy to set up. All you need is a computer, complete with monitor, keyboard and mouse. This simulator is designed to sharpen and further improve the skills of navigators so they become more equipped and prepared with the right skills. This is also designed to make navigators work more safely so as to avoid catastrophic accidents and events
